Rotox SMH510 4-Point Fusion Welder
Our heavy-duty vinyl extrusions are joined simultaneously at all four corners using the German-engineered Rotox SMH510 horizontal welder. This ensures perfectly square frames, uniform molecular fusion, and exceptional mechanical shear strength capable of withstanding extreme coastal temperature variations and wind loads.
Automated CNC Corner Cleaning
Immediately following thermal fusion, frames transition to our advanced Rotox CNC automated corner cleaners. Precision router bits and knives remove internal and external weld beads without compromising profile integrity, delivering silky-smooth corner joints, immaculate aesthetics, and friction-free sash movement.
Automated Extrusion Cutting Lines
High-precision computerized double-miter saws cut heavy vinyl and light-commercial aluminum extrusions with absolute repeatability. Each piece is coded and milled for hardware, weep holes, and interlocking balances prior to assembly, guaranteeing defect-free modular consistency.
In-House Insulating Glass Unit (IGU) Production
Total vertical integration allows Coastal Industries to formulate, assemble, and seal our own insulated glass units under strict laboratory-like environmental controls.
The Thermal Break Advantage
Insulating glass units improve fenestration thermal performance by providing a true continuous thermal break between internal and exterior environments. Two or more precision-cut glass lites are separated by a hermetically sealed airspace containing molecular sieve desiccant.
This structural arrangement satisfies dual thermal mandates: keeping conditioned warmth indoors throughout harsh sub-zero winters, and shielding interiors against radiant solar heat gain during humid summer peaks. By reducing air-to-heat conductive transmission, our IGUs significantly lower operational HVAC loads for residential and commercial builds.

Low-E High Performance Glazing
When combined with microscopically thin Low-Emissivity (Low-E) coatings, Coastal IG units provide industry-leading energy efficiency. Low-E coatings selectively reflect long-wave infrared energy (radiant heat) while permitting natural visible light to pass uninhibited.
This decreases overall U-values and regulates Solar Heat Gain Coefficients (SHGC) to match local climate zone standards. Because our Low-E glass maintains neutral optical clarity and neutral exterior aesthetics, it is universally specified across high-end architectural residences and commercial multi-family complexes.

Final Hardware Tuning
Balances, multi-point locks, and weatherstrips are cycled and calibrated for smooth operation and airtight compression prior to export packaging.
