Advanced Manufacturing Standards

State-of-the-Art Production & Engineering Excellence

Since 1973, Coastal Industries, Inc. has operated an advanced 50,000-square-foot manufacturing plant at 77 Newark Street, Haverhill, MA. Built specifically for high-capacity custom fabrication, our facility serves international B2B distributors, commercial building contractors, and regional construction leaders seeking precision-engineered fenestration products.

Every window, sliding door, storm unit, and architectural enclosure is fabricated to order. By utilizing heavy-duty multi-chambered vinyl profiles and automated assembly systems, we maintain complete control over dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, and thermal performance standards.

Manufacturing Capabilities

Precision Engineering & Equipment Standards

Our facility integrates European automated machinery with rigorous quality assurance protocols to output architectural-grade window and door systems.

Automated Fusion Welding

Utilizing the industry-leading Rotox SMH510 four-point welder, our vinyl profiles undergo simultaneous fusion welding at precise temperatures, creating seamless, leak-proof frame corners with superior structural load capacities.

Automated CNC Corner Cleaning

High-precision Rotox CNC corner cleaners automatically profile and polish welded frame joints, delivering immaculate surface finishes while maintaining tight tolerances for multi-cavity weather-stripping installation.

Thermal Break & Profile Design

Our vinyl profiles feature multi-chambered internal geometry that prevents thermal transfer. Heavy wall thickness ensures optimal screw retention, wind-load performance, and resistance to severe climate cycling.

Thermal Efficiency Science

In-House Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) Fabrication

Energy conservation in structural fenestration relies heavily on advanced glass technology. We assemble high-performance Insulated Glass Units in-house to satisfy global energy standards.

High-Performance Low-E Coatings & Gas Filling

Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) create a thermal barrier by separating two or more glass panes with a sealed gas-filled chamber. This configuration dramatically impedes radiant heat transfer, reducing overall solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) and U-factor values for commercial and residential applications.

Our glass line applies microscopic Low-Emissivity (Low-E) metal coatings that reflect long-wave infrared energy. During winter, interior ambient heat is reflected back inside; during summer, external solar heat is deflected away. Sealed with high-density warm-edge spacers and inert Argon gas, our IGUs deliver continuous thermal efficiency and UV protection.
