Founded by William J. Cunningham Sr. in 1973 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Coastal Industries, Inc. established its foundation on robust engineering and unyielding product longevity. Prior to launching the company, William gained decades of specialized industrial insight at General Aluminum in Woburn, leveraging technical mastery to create a premier regional manufacturing facility.
What began as a specialized aluminum storm window and door production shop quickly expanded into a full-scale OEM/ODM manufacturing facility. In 1979, the second generation entered executive leadership with Blaise Cunningham and his wife Linda, modernizing the production lines while preserving structural craftsmanship traditions.
Unlike many modern assemblers who rely on outsourced sub-components, Coastal Industries continues to engineer, weld, glaze, and finish structural vinyl units, commercial aluminum profiles, and storm protection hardware direct from our facility.
